This is centred on NGC1858 in the LMC

9.25" SCT @f/6.3 CGEM guided with Lacerta MGEN and 80mm ST.

Canon CDS 60D @ -10C, ISO 800, 40 x 120s subs.

That is a fine image Tony. Bit hard to tell if it is oversharpened on the attachment. Good to see the work that you can do with the 60D.

How do you get the 60D to run at -10c?

I bought the camera from a company in South Korea called Central DS.
It is astro modded and has a peltier cooler built in. It cools the sensor to about 26C below ambient. It reduces the noise a lot - especially in summer. It cost around $2k - but it is worth it.
I'll never match the quality of other images here - but it's still fun. I post the occasional image.
