Because I will leave Australia in this month, I have to sell all my astronomy equipments. I'll give each item a price but you can tell me your best offer. If you pay the price I listed, you get it instantly. If you give me your best offer, I'll make a decision on your offer in ~2 weeks.
You may get them at $1 if you are the only one who sent me an offer!
I have: (everything is working well unless explicitly described as broken.)
GSO RC10 metal tube + collimation ring - $1000 (Bintel price is $3099+$119)
I'm the second owner. Rarely used because I have no car and my balcony is not a good place for this.
[Sold to Roger] Losmandy G11s with Eqmod (modified with DIY GOTO by myself) - $1600
With DIY Goto! I modified it by myself, with AstroEQ controller, CNC aluminium motor brackets and second-hand Japanese Oriental motors. The CNC brackets was designed by myself and it cost me really a lot to have it made.
Motors are NEMA17 1.2A 0.9degree high-resolution high-torque stepper motors with direct shaft coupling to remove gear box backlash! The AstroEQ controller is configured to have 32 microsteps. This gives 0.28"/microstep, which is better than the original controller/motors (~0.5"/step as I remember). The Losmandy original controller has no microstep ability. You also get the strong functionality and compatibility of Eqmod!
You will also get the original G11s motors and controller. No holes drilled for modification and only screws were used in the original holes, which means you can easily restore the mount back to original configuration.
Superlube for free (best lubrication gel recommended by many people).
3 counterweights available for free : 7lbs, 14 lbs and 21 lbs
It's ~3 years old. I'm the second owner of the G11s. But rarely used it for the same reason - balcony is too bad.
Losmandy G11s DIY direct-drive Goto upgrade kit (not including AstroEQ)
Another set of second-hand Oriental NEMA17 1.2A 0.9degree high-resolution stepper motor x2 + CNC alumnium motor bracket x2 + all bolts required to fit the brackets and motors onto a G11 - $100
This is the mechanical parts you need to upgrade a G11s with DIY Goto. You only need a AstroEQ controller and cables. (Not sure if the original Losmandy Oldham shaft coupler works, if not, you also need two 5mm/6.35mm shaft couplers. They are cheap on Ebay)
[Sold to Retrograde (Pete)] AstroTech 65Q - $600
You know how good this quadruplet is. I bought brand new this year but used it only ~3 times.
[Withdrawn]Nikon D5100 (was brand new) professionally modified with IR-cut + 9V battery connector + car 12V/9V DC converter + original battery + self-made USB shutter - $500 offer valid until Dec 27
I bought it brand new together with AT-65Q and sent it for modification directly. The USB shutter works well with MaximDL, similar to a DSUSB.
[sold to adi (Avi)]Canon 500D self-modified without IR-cut + 1855 lens - $150
I bought it second-hand and modified it myself. I'm very sorry I made a mistake. I just realised it's 500D, not 550D. It has been half a year since last time I use it and I have a bad memory. Sorry about that.
[Sold] Skywatcher 80 f/5 guidescope - $100
I think it's the same as Origon short tube 80 f/5, just with a different brand. I'm the first owner. Bought it this year.
[Sold to Lewis] QHY 5L-II monochromatic planet camera/autoguider - $300 (same as Orion SSAG Pro which is priced at $609 in Bintel)
I think this is the same guider as Orion SSAG Pro with a different brand printed on. Used for ~5 times. [Sorry I missed the word "Pro" in the original description]
It is much better than SSAG.
[Sold to Lewis] Atik 314E colored - $400
I'm the second owner but neither the first owner nor me used it much. We both mainly use DSLR.
[Sold to MarkJ] Powermate 5x - $180
Used several times.
[Sold to redbeard (Damien)] Powermate 2.5x - $200
Brand new, never used!
