As some of you know I am just weeks away from recieving my new baby, soooo I've just added two images (one Ha and one Lum) taken with an ASA N12 F3.8 astrograph and FLI IMG6303E CCD camera to my "coming soon" album at my web site:
Full frame 5min uncalibrated and unprocessed H-alpha:
http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/68384764/large (http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/68384764/large)
Full frame 30min calibrated and processed Luminance:
http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/68386063/large (http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/68386063/large)
Click on "original" size under each image for a huge 1.2Meg close up critical squizz :-)
The 6303E chip is "only" 27.65mm X 18.48mm so I can't wait to see what the degree of correction is like with my FLI PL11002 35mm format chip but from the looks of these images it seems rather promising huh? :-)
Of course many of you will have already seen the full colour images coming off this scope at:
http://www.astro-pics.com/images.htm
But I just thought these very simple examples spoke volumes as they are more "raw"
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D
