Hi!
In two nights I have photographed the NGC 2403, a galaxy that looks like a small AGN M33 and is 8 million light-years away.
While shooting there was a continuous passage of clouds and perhaps a worse bad seeing. Or at the end I decided anyway to process and compare with the NED objects in the image. I found some interesting items and in particular a QSO with a z = 2.81. I think that's the farthest object I have ever taken :)
Cheers,
Fabiomax

Ha ha yes, true :)

Also reminds me a bit of NGC 3621 in Hydra (http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/154609197/original)

A great galaxy image Fabiomax

Yes!!
I did not know this galaxy, but it is really like ... if I move away a little the monitor from my eyes I can easily be confused for 2403. We should ask visualist that differences are! thanks Mike!

multiweb: Thank you for your comment! Until yesterday I thought it was really similar to M33. But now I understand that it has a sisteri in hydra:)

Cheers,

Fabiomax
