Terrible! The month is nearly over and I've no idea what to take a photo of.

Except an image I couldn't photograph at the time due to Rigil with a 40deg fever. Just before Broken Hill at dusk in 2002. That image of the almost black red dirt blowing in the light gusts with the dead and starving sheep silhouetted against the deep red sunset. We'd just passed through a huge dust storm that day.

I so want to travel back there again, amazing country. Amazing air too, toast in less than a minute without a toaster. Just wait for a low humidity day (every day) and open the packet, seconds later you're crunching into it.

Gees, xstream, the flag looks a little tatty - you'd reckon the local council could stump up for a new one. ;)

It's a pity it's only the replica of the original

Thanks Andrew.

I protest vehemently about Mike's entry:poke: . By simple default he has won:P , a fantastic clear and crisp image, with perspectives to burn, subject definition and brilliant colour.

So the B took a damn fine shot! I want second place to be declared the winner this month. I mean Johns and Stuarts entries are great:D , mine , well  , a little ho hum:sadeyes: , but they deserve a jersey! Unfair Mike, you must be made to use 110 film and a box with a pinhole next time:P ;)

Did anyone consider those who don't live in Australia?

Possibly not, Sonia. Still, a few quids worth of petrol or Virgin fares and you could have lobbed into Whitby and picked up a few 'Jimmy Cook' pictures? ;)

I'm joking, honest, really and truly, cross my heart and hope to die, fair dinkum.

Dennis MAATEee what can I say, but what a truly tacky, well thought out mural image of the Australian pop culture! Or you have been watching too many squarepants images from Asi!!

Congratulations, and for the record, you have far far too much time on your hands:P :D
