This Sydney weather :rain::rain::cloudy::rain: is driving me spare...so without new data I struggled on with this one.

It's a hybrid image (Alluna RC for the rather thin/noisy luminance and some older AP Honders data for colour) and the field curvatures of both 'scopes simply wouldn't match.

In the end I gave up trying to match the geometry of the data from both scopes. I used the central region only for the colour data and left the outer stars pretty much monochrome.

Anyway..despite the noise I liked the resolution so here it is (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/AllunaRC16/AllunaTest5.html)

There is some really nice detail in there... I'd certainly be happy with that :D

Although you plainly need more data for this and I'm not seeing a full res shot (:(), I can see the resolution is excellent. Maybe even as good as an OS! :P:D

Well, I'll give you that :) all things red and Italian are pretty seductive....

I suspect I should not have put this image up until my cabin fever had subsided.

More data would be cool but I'll need to start using an underwater camera housing if this weather persists.

Humm... I've actually got one good to a depth of 40 metres  :)

I feel your pain on the weather front!! Check out Skippysky for tonight. Seeing 9 with a clear sky after 20:00 (at least out where I am)!! Transparency may be a little iffy though. Sat & Sun look like crap.

Resolution is indeed good. There are some tight doubles that the Placidus 20" resolved, but you could drive a truck through.

Weather: Yesterday we had 52 mm of rain in an hour. The cows are now clean and shiny.

WOW, looks like a whirlpool... Comparable to a lot of M31 shots I've seen.
