Trouble with loading vids and photos

Hope someone can help with this. I have created or replied to threads and after putting URL link, previewing and seeing what I wanted it disappears when submitted. Well not disappear but just shows up as the link words.

If you want to show images on IIS you need to upload them via the "Manage Attachments" button in the Attach Files when you post.
The images need to be less than 200kb.

Linking them, the way you've been doing, via URL, is disabled and only shows up as a link.

Ok. Rational I suppose however 200kb seems light figuring most mobile picture and video sizes these days and I'm not sure how to downsize pictures from my phone that are usually mb size. Any plans to update this or is it not on the agenda for legitimate reasons which are understandable or parameters of the operating system?

That common with most astronomy forums to limit the size of the attached images or else their server hard drives get filled up too quickly.

You are going to have to get those images off your phone onto a computer and either re-size them or crop the image until you get within the 200Kb limit.

Other than that you can provide a link to to a website that holds the larger files.
