I see the long standing 'most ever users' figure of thirteen hundred and something got a thrashing recently.

Currently .... 'Most users ever online was 3,950, 14-10-2015 at 11:03 PM'

Can anyone recollect what was happening on this date almost three weeks ago that was of such mammoth interest?

I did look back over the posts on that date and thought of Blindman's cracking post but decided against it ;)

Yet nothing else is standing out. Surely BM's vid didn't go viral. Tell me it didn't!

Can't imagine it Rus, - the previous record of 1300 and something had stood for 8 years.

I'd imagine there's been a few new moons and clouds since then. Gotta be something fairly prominent I'd say.

TBH I'm really surprised no-one has come forward with a clear answer since whatever it was must have been fairly common knowledge - though not to me obviously ;)

It would have to be mistake wouldn't it, At 11pm on a Wed night to have nearly 4000 viewers must be wrong. Could it be a Denial of Service Hack attack?
