Help needed titan mount

Need a little advice

Namely how do I lock the axis of this mount so it dosn't go into hysterics when the very heavy gear on top is removed .

I only use my homebuilt dob for visual so astrophotography and mounts arn't something i know much about .

Also any suggestions on how the camera detaches from the large helical focuser would be great.
