Hey All,

Day after my thesis is due, I have this treat. I'll try catching it in my 10" dob and photographing it through my imaging setup. Might be hard tho, cause I only just got the imaging setup, and am very inexperienced in using it.

I just restarted my love of astronomy, which has lain dormant for 30 years, lol. Bought a Celestial Starfinder telescope (A$800 RRP - intermediate), hoping to receive by end of next week, so I may view Comet 2015 TB145 here in SYD (approx. 0400 SUN 01 NOV). Excited! (even with work happening that day). Also hoping sky won't be 100% cloud cover like now!

This will be a tough observation and will require a large instrument.
The object is too far north around closest approach to be visible from Australia. It will be visible between midnight and morning on Oct 31 but will be between mag 13 and mag 12.5.
Use the Minor Planet Ephemeris Service to generate predictions for your observing location.

I might miss this then. I was looking over some pictures I took with a 127 refractor and I think the lowest mag I can get from my house is 9 or 10.
