Imaging from North and South

Hi guys,

Just registered here :) I'm an amateur astrophotographer from really high latitudes, Finland to be precise. I'm specialized in monochrome DSLR Nikon cameras, and narrow band imaging with them. Some of you, who are active on Cloudynights or Stargazerslounge may have seen me posting there.

Anyway, the reason I am here is that I'm looking for a partner/associate from the southern hemisphere who would like to use Nikon D600am (astromono) for astrophotography in a form of data sharing etc.

Full frame monochrome modified sensor with 6016 x 4016 resolution and ~6um pixels :thumbsup:

You can't link to an external image, it only shows up as a link.
You need to upload images through you post directly to IIS and they need to be less than 200kb.

It sounds a little unclear exactly on what you are proposing?

I'm sure people would like to help out or share data (it could be a nice change to process objects unreachable from the opposing hemispheres), perhaps some more detail in exactly you meant in data sharing etc will result in more responses.

Anyway, about the camera and co-operation.
In brief form I’d like to find someone, who whould be interested using a Nikon D600 monochrome in narrow band imaging of southern objects with mutual data share principle. From North to South and other way around. Like international data sharing :)

This is not a primary sale topic and I don't wish to highlight this part, but this person would get the body with a bargain price compared to usual prices of monohcrome full frame DSLRs. I however emphasize the primary idea of finding an associate to image with D600mono and practice data sharing rather than trying to sell a camera to anyone.

ps. Thanks for the image attachment instructions. I enclosed couple of samples taken with a small 65mm quadruplet near airport.
Images are heavily downsized and compressed to meet 200kb limit.
