My first panorama. Taken on side of lake south of Sydney. Camp grounds are behind the trees. Canon 6D and Samyang 14mm. 9 shots stitched together in Photoshop.

Very nice pano Mark. Can I ask what program you are using to stitch together?

I used photoshop. I am new to the program but there is an automatic function that was easy to use. (From file menu, click Automate, then click Photomerge and just add the photos). The automatic function seemed to prioritise the trees rather than the milky way so I had to have several goes at generating the panorama. I did take some other shots with different settings but the program was unable to stitch them together to make the full panorama.

Yes, I too use photomerge in Photoshop but sometimes I find it doesn't behave so I also use 'Hugin'. I switch between the two. I just ask as I'm interested in knowing the different pano programs folk use. Your results seem to have worked nicely. Thanks for the info.
Cheers Steve
