Red Lights rule

OK .. It seems simple I know, but I just had to post it.
Having just replaced my interior light in the Crusier, I just had to make it RED !
A bit of judicous application of "Red Gel" and this is the result:

hahaha excellent, no more hassles turning off the door light now eh?

It was pretty easy Andrew, I just trimmed a piece of "Flame Red" lighting filter Gel, to fit inside the light cover, then clipped the cover back in place.
The Gel works well, so long as it does not come in direct contact with the hot lamp itself.
Gel is used by stage productions the world over & is available from most entertainment supply companies. (good for laptop screens too !)

The latest accessory for astronomers who want to 'Pimp their Ride'. Now all you need is red neon underneath and you'll look the goods at any astro car meet. :lol:
