Hi,
I’m László Bagi, a hungarian astrophotographer. I attached my latest work about the M31 (Andromeda) galaxy, I hope that you will enjoy it and its quality is enough to publish it on the APOD site.
Here is a short descrition about the picture:
I always wanted to make a photograph about the M31 galaxy, so I decided to spend lots of hours under the hungarian sky. The pictures were taken in Öcsöd, Békés county and Ágasvár, a famous place for the hungarian sky-lovers in the northern hungarian mountains.
I made all photographs with my custom made 200/800 newtonian astrograph on a modified SkyWatcher NEQ6-Pro and a modified Canon 600D camera. I guided with the Lacerta M-Gen.
The final picture has 170 pieces of 5 minutes long and 50x30 sec exposures at ISO800, my main plan was to capture the finest details of the galaxy.
