Hi Guys,

I received my Orion ED80 from Striker (thanks Tony) yesterday. Amazing scope. More heavier than my previous guidescope but the quality from the optics is great.

Here's Orion and running man with the ED80. I havent count the number of different exposures, iso' etc the longest being 5mins iso 1600 but will be posting the info on my website.

Overall im very happy with the scope.

Cheers.

Glad you like it Eric,

Like I said it's by far the best value semi apo which performs more like an apo scope you can get.

I love your Orion and running man shot.

many thanks for your replies guys. There were at least 5 layered mask used for composition so the core doesn't get burnt out. I think the 8" shot of orion has a slightly better details than this version. Neverless from the ed80, im quite pleased how it turned out.

He posted it in an ed80 thread out of nowhere, saying something like, "yup, this scope is pretty good, looks what it can produce!"
and then he posted the pic........made me sit back in my chair!!!
