Thanks Aiden, this is the 1st night that things have seemed to come together.
16 months of reading, this forum, you tube and many mistakes is finally starting to sink in :P

Nicely done! It may be a bit noisy but there is some fantastic colour there. Bit more data and you'll be set.

Gooday George,

Beautiful image there mate, great colours and good framing. Makes me think I should go out and buy a refractor as another scope. So happy you got the M31 noise issue solved, who would have thought it was voltage regulation.

Personally I have never been able to get a decent image of the horsehead due to Alnitak reflecting off the CCD chip and then bouncing off the CCD Window back onto the chip ruining the image. I get the same thing with Pleaides as well.

Keep up the good work mate, before the monsoon sets in.

Cheers
Bill

Nice job George; another 50 or 60 subs will help big time.

Ta Raymo,
if my single subs were as good as yours, i would not need so many
Eyes are falling out but will do some more tonight :P

I just realised that your horsey's stars are also elongated, maybe cut
the subs back to 2 mins until you get the tracking sorted.

huge difference with the extra data :thumbsup:
if you keep getting more data you'll be able to dig out some of the brown dust :)

Great image! You've got to be happy with that  Mosaic will be a challenge, but surely worth a go if you can pick the framing and get enough clear skies?

Somnium

Just have a think about how long it took you to get this one, then calculate how many frames you will need to make up the mosaic, then multiply your effort by that amount, if that doesn't make you want to cry then sure go for it :)
