Equipment Price Watch

Starting this thread to serve as an equipment price watch. If you notice significant price movement on good gear post it up here; whether a sale on somewhere, new imports, great online buys, currency change effects, etc it's all useful news to shoppers.

Here's one: Andrews Communications has just raised it's prices on some of the popular models of the ATIK camera range, apparently changed on 10/09/15. For example, the 383L+ has moved from $2799 to $2999 (a 7.14% increase), likely due to exchange rate impacting AUD on new stock being received. If you bought this camera a month or so ago during their ATIK sale it would have been $2520 (with the 10% off). Kicking myself now.:shrug:

Exactly 3 years ago this week the QHY12 from Theo was listed at $2850 ( I bought an ex demo version so paid less than that).
Today the list price is $4000. That's how much the dollar has moved in 3 years.

The wife would kill me if I was to buy one today.

KK Fuji orthos - was JPY7,800, now JPY9,800. The lower price was a "special" that went for so long one could have called it permanent, but was removed some time ago. Still good value though.

Also ES eyepieces at Agena Astro. 10-20% higher than this time last year, in USD figures obviously.

Edit: OK forget it. No more KK's available from source until autumn 2016.
