Visiting Lake Mungo - What to look up at?

Hi All

I will be getting to spend three nights at Lake Mungo around 14th October.

I will be looking at Stellarium to make a list of objects up, but, as I am very much a beginner, I would like an idea of what I should not miss.

Suggestions please.
