Can you imaging how many hours you would spend trying to align all that?

Wow. Looks good but possible a nightmare of aligning and handling of flex.

Light weight cameras that are really orthogonal would be a must.

The issue APPARENTLY with the RH200 as explained to me by someone that SHOULD know is that it is designed for cameras of 8300 chip region and not more. Bert ran into this problem trying to use his (if I recall correctly) 16803 on it, which OS do NOT recommend.

A bit odd that such an expensive and seemingly great optic is limited to a rather small chip size. Yet, OS seem to NOT have 8300 Apogee's on the back of that - I am guess 16803's or similar.

Flex... out come the turnbuckles, I beams, gaffer tape...

An optic NOT for the feint of heart nor impatient.

I think it handles STL11 as well which is a reasonably light camera. A FLI Proline 16803 and MMOAG is very heavy at about 3kgs plus adapters plus 1.3kg for the filter wheel so its all a bit much.

That's why you get an AP :lol:

F3 might also have been a bit adventurous. I see they have a 10 inch F6.5 now. All a bit easier.

Given how sensitive squaring up the Trius 694 was on the AP RHA if I didn't have complete confidence in the exactness of the RHA optics it would have been a real mess. Plus the AP scope does not need collimation whereas the OS RHA does. That would be fun at F3.

Is it the optics? Is it the camera? boy I can see lots of hours pondering on that issue. The clue is the camera is more in the corners or one side compared to the other. Collimation of the optics is more all over (I think).
