Aurora from Sydney

Well here is a new one for me, Aurora Australis with beams from Mount Victoria in the top end of the Blue Mountains.
I only got this one shot, it didnt last for long, but I would have liked to have had the time to shoot a timelapse.

Good capture for your latitude, it was spectacular down here in Tas, easily seen naked eye, lots of beams some reported a hint of colour. Unfortunately I didn't get any images, had a family member call as I was about to venture out. There lots of images from Tassie on the Aurora Australis Tasmania FB page.

Yeah Im on the Tasmanian Aurora alert FB group from a few years ago when I went down chasing some aurora photos, and I saw the action going off so just thought that I would see if I could get some colour or air glow.
