3.75 hrs of HaLRGB from astrofest. Mainly 4min RGB subs with just over an hour each of Lum and Ha.
Bit hard to get anything much more than red out of this one, so have put the Ha up too as it shows some more detail. Fair bit of sensor noise in the Ha in particular - think I may have had the camera on fast downloads in hindsight :ashamed:

(Larger versions of HaLRGB (https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipPiW0MJbCnokLqmSugrFFAiY1HVEn7 luqNGaOdv) and Ha (https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipOdrgBLsBllrjNPf1j2LuePDHPa_SP 94FP7kdeD) if of interest)

There really is a lot of whisky detail in the Ha version. Nothing wrong with the HaLRGB one though, very clean :)

More likely to have been beer related detail than whisky (wispy? :)) though in my case :D
Seriously though, thanks for checking 'em out Colin.

Nice detail in the Ha version Rob and nicely blended in the LRGB image.

Well done

Cheers Geoff

Nice detail for a southern hemisphere north american nebula Rob. It barely clears the northern horizon down here.

Cheers

Thanks Geoff. Perhaps a smidge "salmony" - but other than the stars there isn't a lot of colour variation to be guided by. Have always wanted to do a bit wider on this field, so happy to have "explored" a bit more :)

Thanks for looking Steve - it really is a pleasure to have Cygnus and the Northern Milky way/great rift sweeping past low in the north at Astrofest - that's usually where my chair is pointed for binocs and chilling out between times at the laptop. The lights of Brisbane and the Sunshine coast normally make it pretty hard to image to the north in SE Qld - however the extra 100kms inland at AF really helps out.
