Hi everyone,
I have decided to sell my Olympus OM-1 gear. This entire pacakge includes:
* 1 x Olympus OM-1 film camera body
* 1 x Olympus 135mm f3.5 lens (with Kalimar haze-UV filter - chipped a bit on the rim but glass is fine)
* 1 x Olympus 200mm f4 lens (with Tiffen Sky 1-A filter)
* 1 x Olympus 28mm f3.5 lens
* 1 x Olympus 50mm f1.8 lens
* 1 x Vivitar 28mm f2 lens (this one comes in its own case plus Hoya Skylight 1B filter)
* 1 x Generic teleconverter 2X (not sure of brand).
* 1 x Olympus Varimagni finder (with case)
* 1 x Shutter release cable
* 1 x Olympus 1-8 focusing screen
* 1 x Olympus camera adaptor (to attach to scope)
All the lenses have both front and rear caps except the 50mm and the 55mm, they only have a front cap. They are all in very good condition, although there are a few white marks on one side of the lens hood on the 200mm lens from the previous owner. The teleconverter has something that sounds loose in there but I'm sure it doesn't affect the image quality (this was how I received it and yes I've tested it though not thoroughly). The camera itself is in good working condition except for the battery,which I have not yet replaced as they don't seem to make those batteries anymore. However, I'm sure alternatives can be used but I have to check this. These batteries are only required to keep the meter working.
I have hardly used this gear since I purchased this all from astromart and ebay (I actually didn't buy these as a package so it took a while to find all the pieces) almost three years ago. Alas, it is time for me to let go of these items as I can no longer justify keeping them.
In terms of pricing, I am not quite sure what the going price for these things are these days. I think I paid about $450 or so in total for everything (but please forgive me as I can't remember - it was so long ago...) So I will make an initial sale price of $350. Just email me or PM me if you're interested.
I would like to sell this as a package but if there is not enough interest, then I will certainly break up the items and sell them individually.
