long enough exposed to know what it is and then far too short to do it justice. the problems of far too many targets and no imaging of deep space stuff for a very very long time...... they all need mega time on them - gawd the helix was only 30 minutes:help::screwy:
still going through the list

You've been pretty busy. You got some cool details on the dust lanes in Andromeda. Sharp focus. M16 came up a treat too.

I thought you weren't going to Astrofest this year Dave?..guess you got a leave pass then? ;) That helix there looks like a colour version of what I could see in my 12" Dob last weekend when the Helix was at the zenith.
Have to say, wish some of you Astrofesters who enjoyed clear nights every bloody night would have hammer something different for a change , if I see another M31, M33, M16 M17 M8 M20 or NGC 253 :scared: I'll bloody cry...

well this year it was a new scope, new camera, untried software, no focus motor software, BUT next year it will be a single target a night:thumbsup:

Good to see some results from the Taj Mahal, Dave
At least you're back in the game David and were rewarded for the packing and travel. That M16 is my pick.
Also glad you made it back home before any murderous moon burn had a chance to set back in too....:D
Here's to more crazy all-nighters :drink:

Very unprepared this year. New camera, new scope nearly new mount. What could go wrong ;)
