Very nice Ray. there is a little coma around the edges, do you have a corrector? if not, the investment will really pay dividends. it looks, otherwise, fantastic.

Thanks Aidan, never been able to find the cash; I generally crop most of it out. This image was originally a much wider field.

I am in the process of upgrading some equipment. I have a mkII Baader MPPC that may become redundant in a few months (could be up to 9 months). If you want it, i will make a note to PM you when the new scope arrives. better for it to get some use then to sit in a draw.

Nice one Ray. Yeah it's a pity the Southern Pleiades didn't have some neb like it's northern cousin. Maybe there's some really faint galactic nebulosity in there that only comes out with 100 hours exposure.

Thanks Kevin. There is faint nebulosity beginning to show; I think it would be quite obvious with much less than 100 hrs.

Nice work raymo! I love open clusters, but they just don't look right without diffraction spikes, so, using only refractors, I never image them.

Almost tempted to stick something over the objective to create my own spikes...... yes, I'm a heathen.
