Am selling my 12-month-old 8" reflector.

Pretty much as new. Just a couple of small but handy mods (ie primary mirror fan etc)

Will consider including the EQ5 mount and tripod it came with.

PM me with offers if you're interested. This would make a very nice scope for someone looking for a nice 1st scope, or an increase of a little more aperture over a 4 1/2" or 6" reflector.

Does not come supplied with MoonLite CR2 focuser, but regreased R&P focuser

But does include the big 9x50 finder, tube rings and mounting plate:)

I'll sell it with EQ5 and tripod for $450 (negotiable)

What a great bargain! The fan mod looks terrific. Hope it finds a good home. :)

Matt does the mount have motors?

Gee...

you don't want much, do you Paul!

Actually, yes, but I think the handpad needs a little TLC.

They're these ones:

http://myastroshop.com.au/products/details.asp?id=MAS-021

Which makes the scope/mount/motors package new = $1300 and that's not including the primary cooling mod etc

Actually, come to think of it, I'm probably mad to be selling it at this price:screwy:

Can't wait for the 8". I've been having so much fun with Jenny's little 3" EQ Newt the 8" will be great.
