The Pendant- single frame

There doesn't appear to be a heck of a lot of activity at the moment,
so I'll try to post a few more. My eyes are not the best, and I've only
just noticed that the stars are not quite round in this one.

Nice image. I think that a bit more smooth clip (less contrast-saturation) of black background and white stars will enhance the photo.
The red star is very well.

Hi Jorge, As nearly always I have an excuse for my images'
shortcomings. Most of these single frame images were taken
at 1600 or 3200 in relatively warm conditions, and are therefore quite noisy, so I darken the background to hide the noise. Obviously normally stacking would reduce the noise. Overdid the saturation a bit trying to highlight the red star.

Raymo, the free graphic processor Fitswork has an excelent ressource against noise at menu Processing/Blur Filter/NML Noise Filter.

In the same program at Processing/Blur Filter/Wavelet Noise Filter you get good results.
