Hi all,
Hurts to need to find a new home for this Blue lovely. I also used this Kson Ekinox ED805.5 as part of my Daystar Quark review (yes, still coming...), and the image it throws up is gorgeous - marginally below that of the Skywatcher ED80 and its variants. But much more compact and easier to handle than its bigger cousins. Image is superior to any achromatic scope I've used.
The objective lens does have a blemish on the inside coating. I honestly cannot say that it affected the view through the scope, and I've priced the instrument accordingly.
Focuser is single speed, and can be rotated on the OTA. Comes with a built in Vixen style short dovetail. Dew shield retracts over OTA for a more compact stowing. Included is a red dot finder and a GSO 2" Quartz diagonal. Whole system comes in its original Kson padded case.
Old, dusty tripod not included...
Asking $400, negotiable, postage additional.
Thanks for looking,
Alex.
