That is a very nice image.. they need an atmosphere though, don't you reckon? It would give it some more colour :)

Before i look in this topic, i thought it going to be run similar to ours. Now it it look like our halo sunset. How come it different?

That is really "unearthly" :)

I'm sitting here looking at it trying to relate it to anything I've seen on this planet. The only thing I can think of is the sun rising through a distant fog but the fog is only near the horizon, yet rises a long way into the sky.

Awesome shot.
