This magnificent tool has served us well and to continue to do so will need a visit from the shuttle and a repair and replace mission. I understand the risk goes up as a shuttle is unable to call at the ISS and the Hubble on the same mission. This could be bad news for the old girl Hubble Telescope. That would be a shame. Lets hope this latest glitch is not a long term problem.

Not good. Hope it won't take too long to get back online.

nasa is concentraiting on the ISS now, hubble was to be decommissioned, so it will be a 11th hour reprieve to save this one

Have confidence. A meteor or some space junk will hit Hubble and 'knock' the camera back on.

After all, that's how we fix things isn't it? If something doesn't work we hit it a few times

Geez I hope it self corrects again.
