Has anybody tried an Orbinar EQ4S mount that is sold on EBay.?

I purchased this mount couple of years ago at Bintel, from cash-carry pile (they are not doing this any more).
It needed some rework on worm gear (aluminium.. there was a lot of backlash, and the whole thing was not centric, indicating very bad manufacturing process) .

At the end, it was a good buy (but much cheaper than what they ask on ebay) and I am using it for up to 300mm FL for wide field.

In my opinion, this mechanic is not suitable for more that 2-3kg max of equipment.

Well... that depends ;). I am happy now with it, and for what I am using it for.
And, that was years ago.. so maybe they improved the assembly procedure in the meantime.
