I've been working on some M16 data I collected on Saturday and I'm not really happy with the colour. Does anyone know anything to try in pixinsight? Attached is just a crop, but of the more interesting part.

Hey Marty,
I'd suggest using SCNR (under Noise Reduction) to remove the green cast/rings; no need to change any settings, just open it up and apply it. Other than that the colour looks ok to me. Is there something in particular you're unsatisfied with?
It might also help if you specify whether this is LRGB or OSC.
Cheers,

Had a quick play with the JPEG. Not sure if that's the look you're after.

This is OSC from a Canon 700D. It just seems kind of washed out. Colours just don't seem to pop. Maybe I just need to mess with curves a bit.
Hey Marty,
I assume you tried the saturation tab in the curves module? If not, when you open up the curves on the right hand side of the module there is an "S"button like the RGB buttons. Click that and when you adjust it your adjusting the saturation. Another tool, is the Coloursaturation tool. Under process/all processes. That one allows you to adjust saturation for just certain colours. There is a tutorial on the PIS forum for it. Hope that helps.

I've played with saturation in curves, but I'll have a look at the Colorsaturation tool. Ta!
