This was shot right out side between astrofest and the dinner about 100 yards up the hill. Great shots inside and this hanging in the sky outside......does it get any better :thumbsup:
Pentax k-3, pentax F28mm, @ f10 13second exposure iso1600
plus a little fiddling in cs6 to bring up the comet

Doubt it mike but thanks anyway, i did a bit of fiddling to get the comet nice and bright, not dm,s cup of tea really.Truth be told i took the shot and when i returned to the malin,s someone at the table said "so did you get the comet?" comet! what comet......oh yeh thats right! followed by a hasty check.....ur yep i got it, i had completely forgotten about the comet and it wasn,t naked eye in the twilight. Kind of like putting on a rarely used coat and finding fifty bucks in the pocket:D
