Reprocessed and cropped my paltry 2hrs on NGC 6188. Got an odd stacking translation like Greg did recently but did not notice it until too late and too lazy to start again. Afterall, it was just something to do until I collect more data
Anyway, here it is, a cropped centre section and at 50% reduction. I think it is not too bad for 2 hrs with an OSC 8300 under appalling light pollution. Might add Ha tonight.

Nice warm rendition - not overwhelmingly magenta.

That's a pretty good image Lewis! I gave up on OSC cameras a while ago since I could not take any reasonable images with mine in light polluted area. Well, you have proven that I was wrong! :-)
Nice one Lewis. Good details under difficult conditions and only 2hrs, and I really like the colours you have brought out. Great job mate.

Thanks everyone.
Going to discard all the data when I get more. The slight defocus bloaty is annoying me. Plus I need to make the colour pop more.
Slaw, I love mono, I just find I never get the time to collect any decent data with it, hence just going back to OSC yet again to try to maximise my time. Will be extending my exposures to all 20 minutes so as to maimise it - the mount and tracking have proven more than capable of going to 45 minute subs, so will compromise at 20 mins (I did do a run of 30 min single subs on the Chook without any issues).
The "generic" LP filter (an no-name IDAS clone) seems to be working well enough mitigating LP, so I won't change to a genuine Hutech just yet. Still undecided if the UV/IR cut filter is doing much.
