How's this for a cute little galaxy. It's about 1.5 arcmin on the long axis. Found while processing an image of Hickson 68...

Cheers,
Rick.

Hehe it's pretty classic isn't it. Almost like a cartoon galaxy.

That's an interesting looking galaxy. Some nice detail showing too.

Careful. One could get aperture fever looking at that! ;)

Not much apparent hydrogen in that one.

Beautiful little gal.

I always wanted to image the Propeller Galaxy. Might get around to it one day.

Thanks, guys! It's a member of the same group as the Hickson 68 galaxies but appears some distance away from the rest of the group.

The complete FOV is proving a PITA to process. There's a very bright star smack bang in the middle of the central cluster of galaxies.

Looks like a nice target but smallish, Lewis!

Yes, a very cool looking galaxy Rick...can't wait to see the final full field

I hope I didn't blow all the good stuff in the trailer and there's something left for the rest of the movie, Mike

a wee ripper as they say - pity it is not closer.

Thanks, Ray. It would make a great target if it was NGC253 sized :)

A perfect object/preview for testing effectiveness of various notice reduction methods ;)

I need to get back to this one, Slawomir! I have more data than time at present.

1.5 Arc minutes.....:scared: that's awesome for something so tiny.

We get some excellent seeing at SRO, Rex. Might be possible to do better once we finish tweaking the guiding.
