Mount for Binoculars

Hi, I have 7x50 binoculars that I wish to use to get acquainted with the night sky and I want to use a tripod. May I have advice on binocular mounts for tripods (or any alternatives); I need the cheapest value for money. I would say $3.00 for a mount from ebay is not wise or suitable. Thanx:)

Hi again; well I ordered an L metal mount and I don't think it will work on my binoculars. I have taken off the front cap of the binoculars and it does not appear to have thread to insert the adapter . binoculars are Supremo SOC 7X 50 Any Advice greatly appreciated :)

I can't find any mention of that brand binos- so can you attach an image of them so we can see the attachment point? If there is a cap over the join then normally there would be a female thread there too...

Thanx Dean ; I did remove the cap and no thread there( ? missing the insert with thread). I got them second hand locally and The lovely gentleman that runs the camera shop was quite happy to swap them over for a pair that I liked that had thread. But would you believe the mount screw is too large for the other binoculars with thread. The Nice gentleman suggested taking my original ones and seeing if I can get an insert that will take the size of the mount.
