This is my first shot in LRGB of a reflection nebula with the GSO RC8. I wanted to shoot it with a long focal length since a long time ago, when I had the Vixen VISAC, but could not do for many reasons. I like the soft shades of blue of the central region. In the future I think I'll shoot it wide field as well with the FSQ in order to contextualize the nebula in the vast sea of dust clouds in the area.

Nice work Nicola. I really like the colour and the field of view too.

A nice, gentle, smoky rendition. The reflection nebula reminds me of a transparent jellyfish, of the sort where one can see its inner workings. We like it.

Very nice, Nicola. The dust is a bit redder than most other renditions I've seen. Was that intentional?

Cheers,
Rick.

Nicolas, this has the details of a long FL, with the utter depth of a short FL... The dust and light and blue nebula. Breathtaking!

Cheers,
Harel

Thank you Rick. The dust is always reddish, the point is: is it too much reddish? I don't know, this is what it came out, I don't recall boosting the saturation...

Very good one Nicola, remarkable result even though I agree with other remarks about the cast of the dust, a tad too red comparing with what is usually rendered on this field..
