Venus, Jupiter, and the Brisbane River

Hi all,

Here's a couple of my images of the conjunction. The first two are widefield views taken last night (1st July) from Long Pocket in Brisbane [hard to believe that this is in the middle of suburbia!], and the last is a telephoto lens view from the 30th June with all 4 moons of Jupiter visible.

Yes, I have enjoyed the images too. They have captured the mood of the event well. As you say Stephen, Brisbane suburbia is no where to be seen.

some cool shots there - pity you missed out on a reflection shot, i suppose the cloud put that one to bed?

No reflection for the last image (from the day before the closest conjunction) - that one was shot through a brief gap in the clouds, so I was lucky to capture anything.
