First processing of some of the images I took this evening.
Fabulous view through the 6 inch F8 Newtonian at low power.

awesome work Richard,
there is more clouds down here than the Lando System at the moment so i have to live vicariously through other people's telescopes.

Thanks for sharing.

That's super Richard. Shooting it now as well. I won't know until I've got the camera off the scope. What camera did you use? Is that on your Newtonian?

Great view Richard, was having a look this evening from cold and humid Canberra. Separation was too great for my SCT even with the reducer.

Cheers,
Seb

Hi Mark,
I used my old Canon 450D with a x2 Barlow on the 6 inch scope.
Hope you got some good pics.

Richard.

Glad to see someone was able to capture it for the rest of us. Adelaide has been cloudy unbelievably each day right at the time we have the chance (sometimes clear day too and then cloud from 5-6pm onwards!).

Thank you for sharing. :thanx: Feel like my wife and I have not missed it now!

Great photo of a great conjunction

Best visuals last night came from the small refractors.
Events like this are one area where aperture Does. Not. Rule. ;)
