Omaroo

Hi all :)
At the end of this week, Jenny and I are going to take a week off and go to Omaroo - our place just outside of Cooma NSW (430km on the way to the Snowies from Sydney - about 4 hours). We'll be down there from Friday evening on the 29th of September to the 7th or 8th of October, so if you're looking for something to do over the long weekend break we humbly invite you to come on down (or up!) and join us.:)
Bring your scope, your tent and something to drink around the fire.
We have few hundred metres of Murrumbidgee River frontage so if its hot you can go for a swim and even do a spot of trout fishing while you're in there.
Nice and dark, it's a great place to do some star gazing. We have a central hill that rises about 100 metres above the rest of the place, and is at 900-odd metres in elevation. It's a bit rough on the road up there, but we'll have our 4WD ready to take anyone up if they want. The views are pretty amazing all round, but the sky is very open. We get a tiny-weensy little bit of light from Cooma, but it's barely noticable. Great camping up top.
If anyone makes it down - we'd love to have you stay over.
Cheers
Chris & Jenny
