About 12 photos of the conjunction of Moon, Jupiter and Venus taken on 21 June. XE-1 body with Nikon 85mm f1.8 lens (stepped down to f4). Exposures varied between 1/4 sec and 1/2 sec, all at ISO 400.
A quick stack and some very minor tweaking in PS.
Can see the crescent phase of Venus at 200% and well as two moons of Jupiter at 300%.
Comments welcome.

It was good "dance" to see. Well caught Bo.
With Venus you could shorten the exposure considerably and make the phase shadow more apparent. The bright disk has no detail to offer; a white blob is a white blob. Where as with Jupiter, you might be able to pick up the bands at a shorter exposure.

Thanks Robert and David,
I would love to have another go at this, but the only things dancing in the sky at the moment in Melbourne are clouds :mad2:
