Here are a few pics of many taken over night. All have a meteor trail in them. Pics 2 & 3 are sequential ie the same meteor trail on two frames.

Details
GSTAREX camera, lens focal length 1.98mm at F1.9, exposure 64 frames integrated corresponds to 1.3 seconds exposure. The field of view is about 150x115 degrees. The diagonal is close to 180 degrees.

This lens performs even better than I expected. At a dark sky site can double the exposure to 2.6 seconds. I will have to mount the camera higher to clear the trees.
North is to the left where you can see Orion and to the right you should just be able to see the LMC.

That's great Bert. I love the meteor trails. There is a really long one in the last image.

Never would I have thought thirty years ago that I would ever obtain an astro image with a lens with a focal length of 1.98mm! Modern solid state technology has changed a lot of things we do everyday. I never cease to be amazed.

Here are a couple more taken clear of trees. One is a stack and the other a single 2.6sec frame
