Saturday and Sunday night was spent dialing in Astro Tortilla. I am very excited to say it works great!
During these pointing trials I aimed at at NGC6723 Globular Cluster in Corona Australis - once again the target was dead centre in the frame after AT did it's nudge job. I decided to take a few subs while I was there. Here is 12 x 2 minute subs with 5 darks at 1600 ISO with the 1000D. Processed in Nebulosity and played with in Star Tools. Needs much more time to get rid of the noise and show more dust.

VERY nice Bruce, but what happened to the colour? It looks almost
monochrome.

Very nice effort Bruce , I was looking at some of the bright stars and there seems to be some sort of Aberration , any idea what that is ?

Thanks Russell, hi Raymo - the colour - yes subdued perhaps - I think it just needed more time as it is VERY stretched, I kept the saturation to a level where the colour noise was not overbearing. I may try to get some more data on this in a couple of weeks if the weather permits the next 2 weekends will be spoilt by the moon.

Hi Aiden - not sure about the aberrations you speak of, perhaps just stretched too far without enough data?

Thanks Dylan, yeah AT is a real hit once you get it working reliably, definitely worth the messing around in the beginning. It's helping me realise my dream of spending a few minutes setting up and balancing the scope and running the entire nights work from inside using team viewer.

Yep! Just in time for winter. I got mine going but last last time I used it the mount seemed to be going in reverse from Stellarium so not sure what I've screwed up, I had to put the hand controller back in for my session. Hoping to get it sorted on a cloudy night :)

EDIT : Silly me. I wasn't hitting the "current target" button before "slew to" in Stellarium so it was heading to 0 0 0 ... Everything works!
