Just practising the drift polar alignment method with HEQ5, I took some test shots of M13 the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules.
This is the final combined LRGB image.

So there's two reasons for photographing a globular - a very pretty field, and checking your polar alignment!
Nice colours in the field stars, and a friendly galaxy too.
