SOLD Am selling LXD 75 8 inch Schmidt Newtonian scope with mount and tripod ( as purchased originally from Astro and Optical crows nest).

Won't separate parts so please don't ask. This is surplus to needs. Has aluminium box for the OTA. Also Meade 26 mm eyepiece. $800 firm. Pick up only central coast nsw.

Hi Arthur,
Could you tell me more about the scope that is

1. How old is it?
2. Are the mirror coatings sound ?
3. Is the autostar functioning ok?
4. Does it hold collimation?
5. Are the adjustment screws and retaining screws in good order?
I had a 10" lxd55 SN some years ago and know some improvements were made in the lxd75.
