Decided to move up from my QHY8 pro to QSI683.
Eta Carina, 1.5hrs LRGB with Astrodon filters and put it together with PI after watching a few of 'Harry's' PI videos.
It's not perfect but I'm rather happy with my first effort.
I can now see why luminance is king :-) Cant wait to attack a galaxy or two.

Looking good Dave and yes galaxies are so much fun to image, they are the real deep sky objects ;)

Seems to me to be a bit too red Dave but otherwise a great first light. Congratulations!

The filters of Astrodon are excellent .I believe that you had to work to manage the enormous amount of signal that you have collected!
