Beginning Eta Carina mosaic

A very low resolution teaser of a mosaic of Eta Carina (NGC 3372) - just the first three panels (each panel is 20x 1 minute exposures, ISO 1600 with Nikon D5100, 6" F/5 Newtonian, GSO coma corrector and Hutech IDAS LPF, all on a Skywatcher HEQ-5 Pro). No calibration images used.

I really need dark frames at 1600 ISO.

Looking good , what program are you using to join the images?

Thanks again. I process each panel in DSS and then join them with MS ICE. I like ICE. Great little free program.

Looking very nice. Will be good to see the final result when the all the panels in the mosaic are finished. :thumbsup:
