How long should it take to receive a parcel from Germany. It was sent via Deutsche post dhl on 1st May. If I read the tracking information correctly it is nowin the hands of Australia Post but when I put in the domestic code it says the package is not trackable. I have had idiot postal delivery drivers just leave parcels on the door step in the past rather than leave the collection card and I am concerned that this particular parcel may have gone missing.

Takes about 8-12 days, based on my last two deliveries from TS.

Thanks Barry. I will give it a while longer. I just wish the tracking information was more definite about the status and location of the package.

Hans, the DHL tracking does work within Australia, but don't use Aust Post. Stay on the DHL website and click on delivery details. If they've tried to deliver and failed, it will report that (does for me, since I need to pick up all parcels from the post office). If in doubt, give Aust Post a ring.

Hi Hans,
I've got my stuff within 5 days, in my recent experienced they seem to have a problem with their addresses, the last two items I purchased it was sent to the biller address rather than the 'delivery' address. I wasn't sure the first of the last two so I was extra careful on my last order that I filled the details correctly. And again the item was sent to biller rather than delivery address. Ironically their feedback letter they send afterwards got to the delivery address ok. It might be worth checking that ...

Hans, I just got some stuff from Telescope Express on Thursday, took 4 days to get to Sydney and then 7 days from Sydney to Canberra via Australia Post.

I ordered something from Seben last year and it didn't take long (about 8-10 days I think).
