I'm selling my newt as it's pretty much the same FL as my refractor and I want something longer FL.

It's flocked with Protostar material.
The dewshield is also flocked with Protostar fabric.
The focuser was upgraded to a moonlite micro-focuser 10:1. [$250.00 + Adaptor plate $90.00]
The sharpsky pro motor is already mounted and not part of the deal but if you happen to have a controller and want it let me know.

The newt is this one here (http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p5782_GSO-8--F-4-Newton-Teleskop-mit-Carbon-Tubus---made-in-Germany.html). [~$1348.90 + $51.00 shipping] It is a carbon fibre tube. The mirror cell was modified so there is no mirror pinch. The secondary spider and holder were also changed to a machined, more robust one. [~$100.00]

The scope comes with tube rings and a losmandy dovetail already mounted. [~200.00]

It also comes with a brand new coma corrector which is a MPCC Mark III like this one here (http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p486_Baader-2--Newtonian-Coma-Corrector---with-T2---M48-connection.html). [~$234.00]

So it's pretty much ready for imaging as is in the photos.

Asking for $1200 for the lot. I'm in Sydney west. Willing to drive and deliver within a couple of hours drive or so. Will not ship for obvious reasons. It's too bulky, it's tuned and I don't want postage to mess it up. Welcome to check and inspect the gear before if you're in Sydney area.

If you're coming to the SPSP I can even deliver there but it's next week.

Some pics I took with this scope. Mostly in IR and Ha, some barlowed x3 so the optics are up to it.

Found another photo on my hard drive showing the back focus available. This was with an older GSO focuser. The Moonlite installed is low profile so it's even better now. You'll have room to have an OAG + AO, even filter wheel if you wish. I think this was the day I took the M16 shot at 3x the focal length as the FFC is inside the draw tube.
