Clouds and clouds for days!! what's the best time of the year to get the scope out with the best night sky's?

Really,
New optics left Victoria yesterday; started snowing last night. Snowed in today and cant even pick the friggin thing up!!!!! This relationship is so NOT NOT NOT a myth!! :sadeyes::sadeyes:

Every year is a bad year here. :) This year especially. Poor seeing every night, every clear night during Autumn was ruined by burnoffs and now winter is setting in.

The mere act of announcing new purchases or complaining about the weather undoubtedly exacerbates the problem on a logarithmic scale. :rolleyes:

Melbourne has the best climate in Australia, and by extension, the world.

in some instances, reverse psychology does actually work. Don't tell anyone. If the weather gods find out, we're done.

I have never noticed how many days and nights in a row it is cloudy until i bought a telescope!! lol
