After selling most of my eyepieces I agonised over the logic in keeping my pride and joy this TV-85 but finally reasoned that there is no point holding on to it when I am simply not getting time to use it due to my work load
This is a pristine TV-85 which has been very pampered. When not in use it has always been stored in a silk lined pelican case (see photo) with fresh silica desiccant changed every fortnight.
To my understanding there have been 4 versions/models of the TV-85. The current model and its immediate predecessor (this model) are identical except that the current model features a two speed focuser whereas this model retained the traditional Televue single speed focuser. IMHO at F7 with a superbly built R&P focuser the two speed feature on the TV-85 is quite redundant - I have personally tried the focusers on both models of the TV-85.
There are endless glowing reviews concerning the TV-85 and I have attached a link to one example as it concerns this specific model

Brand new price of a TV-85 complete at Bintel is $3249.00
http://www.bintel.com.au/Telescopes/Refractor/TeleVue-85/134/productview.aspx
Asking $2,200 plus postage for this complete package. It's condition is indistinguishable from brand new. Pick-up can also be arranged if within the Sydney metro area.
Please note this TV-85 complete package does not include a 20mm Plossl nor is the Pelican case in the picture included. Everything else from the 'complete' package (eg Everbrite diagonal, 2'/1.25' adapter, clamshell, Televue baseball cap (never worn) carry bag etc) is included.
Please send PMs only and thank you for looking at my listing:thanx:
